Job Description:
The Site Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision and coordination of construction activities on site. This role requires a hands-on individual with strong leadership skills and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:

Site Supervision and Coordination:

• Oversee and coordinate all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and schedules.
• Supervise and direct subcontractors and workers, ensuring efficient workflow and quality workmanship.
• Monitor and control materials, equipment, and resources on site.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies.

Safety and Compliance:

• Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations and company safety policies.
• Conduct daily safety briefings and toolbox meetings.
• Ensure all workers are equipped with and using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Quality Control:

• Ensure all work is performed to the required quality standards and specifications.
• Inspect and approve completed work, identifying and rectifying any defects.
• Maintain accurate records of site activities, inspections, and progress.

Communication and Reporting:

• Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and workers.
• Provide regular progress reports and updates to the project manager.
• Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, incident reports, and material tracking.

Problem Solving:

• Identify and resolve any on-site issues or conflicts promptly and effectively.
• Proactively address potential problems and implement preventative measures.
• Coordinate with relevant parties to find solutions and minimize delays.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Secondary school or Diploma or Certificate in Building Construction, Civil Engineering, or relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
• Familiarity with Singapore building codes and regulations.
