POSITION OVERVIEW

The Site Supervisor will oversee day-to-day operations on commercial construction sites, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in the field.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or Foreman on commercial construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in problem-solving and decision-making under pressure.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Safety certifications (e.g., First Aid, WHMIS, CSTS) considered an asset.
Responsibilities
  • Manage all on-site activities for commercial construction projects from start to completion.
  • Supervise and coordinate trades, subcontractors, and site staff.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Monitor schedules, budgets, and quality standards, reporting progress to the Project Manager.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and address issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, incident reports, and inspection records.
  • Foster strong working relationships with clients, consultants, and suppliers.
