SITE SUPERVISOR SOUTHERN WATER CONTRACT

Location: Millbrook Depot, Southampton, Hampshire
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Shift Pattern: 4 days on / 4 days off – 6:00am to 6:00pm (40.25 hrs/week)
Salary: £15.00 – £18.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP

ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for a motivated and well-organised supervisor with the following:

• Full UK Driver’s Licence (essential)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to prioritise, multitask, and problem-solve on the go
• Experience in field supervision or logistics (desirable)

THE ROLE

We are looking for a proactive, hands-on Supervisor to join our team in Southampton. In this key role, you’ll support the field operations by supervising drainage engineers, ensuring compliance, and maintaining exceptional standards across every aspect of service delivery.
This is a fast-paced, operationally critical position requiring flexibility, attention to detail, and strong team leadership. You’ll be instrumental in helping us deliver on our promise to leave a legacy of quality, compliance, and reliability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise and support engineers in the field
• Ensure PPE usage and adherence to company standards and H&S compliance
• Conduct audits and identify training needs
• Monitor and support engineer performance and competencies
• Plan daily operations, site setup, and site closure
• Provide clear job instructions to teams
• Manage deliveries, equipment off-hires, and basic vehicle maintenance
• Keep clients informed and maintain excellent communication
• Support logistics and driver break planning (12hr/24hr schedules)
• Take part in the on-call rota and weekend work as required
• Collaborate with LMC Managers and the Senior Leadership Team
