Responsibilities
  • Understand subcontractor’s scope of work: contract specifications, drawings and schedules.
  • Act as Voith’s primary point of contact and work with subcontractors to resolve problems.
  • Identify risks and opportunities, develop mitigation plan and escalate critical issues.
  • Supervise subcontractors’ daily activities and ensure work is executed as per business priorities (HSE, quality, schedule and budget) and contractual requirements. Identify and document deviations.
  • Coordinate work planning with all subcontractors trades and participate in daily planning meetings.
  • Issue non-compliance-report (NCR) to subcontractors.
  • Monitor activities and provide progress reports (HSE, quality, schedule and budget).
  • Coordinate change management process and manage claims with the subcontractors.
  • Approve timesheets, progress and invoicing.
  • Manage weekly meetings with subcontractors (progress, performance, risks and opportunities, contractual issue review, invoicing, etc.) and issue minutes of meeting.Obtain and maintain all relevant subcontractor documentation as per the contract.
