ECOCOAST Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join our team in KSA. The role involves overseeing on-site execution of marine product installations, including navigation buoys and other coastal solutions, while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of on-site experience in marine works, familiarity with marine environments, and the ability to supervise site technicians and divers. Travel to project sites across Saudi Arabia will be required as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Diploma or Bachelor Degree (or equivalent experience).
  • 3-5 years of on-site experience in marine works, including marine product installations or coastal construction
  • Strong familiarity with marine environments and operational challenges, including working with navigation buoys or similar marine infrastructure.
  • Proven experience supervising teams, preferably including site technicians and divers, in a marine or construction setting.
  • Knowledge of marine safety standards and regulations, including safe diving practices.
  • Familiarity with QHSE standards and practices in marine projects.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to manage diverse teams and coordinate with stakeholders.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project plans.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Physically fit and able to work in demanding outdoor and marine conditions.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites across Saudi Arabia as required.
  • Valid driver’s license and eligibility to work in Saudi Arabia.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Certification in occupational health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) or marine-specific safety training.
  • Experience with IALA (International Association of Marine Aids to Navigation and Lighthouse Authorities) guidelines.
  • Familiarity with marine construction equipment and tools.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken) is a plus.
  • Builds strong working relationships and collaborates effectively within cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate on-site installation of marine products, such as navigation buoys and coastal protection systems, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.
  • Manage and lead teams of site technicians and divers, assigning tasks and ensuring efficient execution of all activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards, including relevant marine regulations and company QHSE policies.
  • Conduct pre-installation site inspections to verify conditions and prepare for safe operations.
  • Monitor work progress, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain project quality and schedule.
  • Liaise with project engineers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and project alignment.
  • Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily reports, equipment usage, and personnel performance.
  • Ensure proper use, maintenance, and storage of tools and equipment on-site.
  • Enforce safe diving practices and coordinate with dive teams to ensure compliance with marine safety standards.
  • Travel to project sites across Saudi Arabia as required to oversee installation activities.
