OSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an experienced Asbestos Site Supervisor to oversee on-site operations for asbestos removal projects. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and an in-depth understanding of asbestos abatement regulations and procedures. The Site Supervisor ensures that projects are completed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with all applicable laws.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid provincial Asbestos Abatement Supervisor certification
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in asbestos abatement (with supervisory experience)
• Strong knowledge of asbestos regulations and safe work procedures
• Ability to read and interpret work plans, hazard assessments, and specifications
• Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills
• Physically able to work in PPE and in confined spaces if required
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Lead and supervise asbestos abatement crews on-site
• Coordinate daily work activities and assign tasks to team members
• Ensure proper setup of containment and decontamination areas
• Conduct site safety meetings and enforce compliance with PPE requirements
• Maintain project documentation, including daily reports and safety logs
• Monitor air quality and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
• Communicate progress, issues, and needs to the Project Manager
• Train and mentor team members in safe and efficient abatement practices
• Ensure equipment is used, maintained, and cleaned according to company standards
