We are in search of an Site Survey Manager to join our Air Force Enterprise IT as a Service (EITaaS) Base Infrastructure Modernization (BIM) program. As a Site Survey Manager, you will interface with the Program Manager and Site Leads at each of the BIM Air Force Bases, as well as each base site survey team. The Site Survey Manager will have overall responsibility of site surveys across all 10+ BIM bases. This position is responsible for providing expertise and guidance for conducting site surveys and ensuring that schedules and budget are on track.
Qualified candidates will have a strong technical and project management background sufficient to understand the Government’s requirements, and work closely with the Government and Leidos leadership to facilitate effective planning and accomplishment of mission objectives in a timely manner.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Analyze Government Furnished Information (GFI) associated with existing wired and wireless network infrastructure and associated locations/buildings at the assigned Space Force Bases. Collect additional information from on-site personnel.
  • Engage the client to ensure site survey requirements are accurately captured and that there is a common understanding between the client and Leidos technical teams
  • Coordinate with the client to gain access to all areas required for the site survey
  • Review existing operational procedures and ensure they are accurately documented.
  • Provide technical guidance and recommendations to the Space Force Customer and Leidos operations teams.
  • Attend team lead sessions and act as a conduit with the program leadership team
  • Collaborate using information and knowledge sharing networks and professional relationships to achieve common goals

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors Degree in a technical field and at least 12+ years of prior experience or Masters with at least 10+ years of prior experience
  • Additional years of experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
  • Experience performing site surveys at military locations
  • Experience leading information systems and network operations teams
  • Must have strong problem-solving, analytical, communication and people skills
  • Demonstrate poise and ability to act calmly and competently in high-pressure, high-stress situations.
  • Must have experience in operation of large communications networks.
  • Experience in analysis and the ability to generate reports using various tools is required.
  • Must possess or be willing to obtain one of the following certifications within 60 days:
