🌞 Now Hiring: Solar Site Survey Technician 📍 Location: On-Site / York Office 🕒 Employment Status: Full-Time Regular 💼 Compensation: Salary, Exempt 📋 Reports To: Director of Field Operations Are you part tech wizard, part outdoor adventurer, and 100% into making the world a greener place? Then we’ve got the job for you. 🔧 What You’ll Do: Visit job sites and determine if they’re solar-worthy (you’ll check out rooftops, attic structures, shading, and more). Take precise measurements, snap photos, and gather intel like a renewable energy secret agent. Assess electrical systems and figure out where our solar magic plugs in. Keep things running smoothly by performing maintenance and troubleshooting solar systems. Collaborate with sales, design, and install teams — we’re all about teamwork! Educate customers on how solar works and how awesome it is (spoiler: it’s very awesome). 🧰 Your Toolkit: People skills – you’ll be chatting with customers and working closely with our teams. Sharp problem-solving abilities – if something’s not working, you’ll help figure it out. Math chops – measuring roofs, calculating angles, and evaluating electrical needs. Knowledge of OSHA safety practices. A love for learning – we work with the latest tech and want you to grow with us! 🎓 Your Credentials: High School Diploma or GED. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally. Preferred previous experience in construction, electrical, or solar before – but if you’re handy and eager to learn, we’re interested! 💪 What You’ll Need Physically: Comfortable driving and sitting for extended periods. Capable of lifting/pulling/pushing up to 50 lbs. and lifting up to 20 lbs. overhead. Ability to work in varied physical positions (bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, etc.).
