Marsh Restructuring & Recovery Practice are seeking candidates for the following position. The position can be based from any of the following Marsh offices (Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham or Glasgow).
Marsh Restructuring & Recovery Practice provides insurance cover and Health and Safety advice to Insolvency Practitioners, Law of Property Receivers, Professional Service firms/Legal Advisers, and Capital Providers to ensure that they are fully protected from the moment they are appointed over any insolvent entity.
The Site Surveyor will visit locations associated with insolvent companies that our clients have been appointed over. As well as obtaining relevant risk information, the Site Surveyors can also carry out audits/assessments in relation to Health and Safety matters.
A great hire will be able to carry out site visits and be able to deliver reports to a defined standard within 90 days of their appointment. Extensive national travel will be required so the successful candidate must be flexible.
The training and development plan will consist of job shadowing and accompanied visits until the required standard of assessment and reporting are achieved. Peer reviews and audits will also contribute towards the ongoing development plan for the successful candidate. Full system training will also be provided. In addition, any training to maintain or update technical competence will be essential in this regulated role.
NEBOSH training will be provided if qualifications are not currently held.
