Vacancy – Site Technician
Contract – Temporary, ongoing, possibility of transition to permanent contract
Hours – Minimum 40 hours per week
Locations – Various locations across the UK, Scotland and Ireland

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within the construction industry is preferred but not essential. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry equipment, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel frequently and adapt to varying work environments.
  • Must have UK Driver’s License
  • CSCS Card preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

We are seeking Materials Site Technician’s to join our clients in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a can-do approach to problem-solving.
You will be responsible for conducting on-site material testing, inspections, and quality assurance to meet project specifications and safety standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • On-Site Material Testing: Perform and document field testing of construction materials such as concrete, soil, aggregates, and asphalt to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and report on the quality and condition of materials delivered to sites, ensuring they meet required specifications.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Accurately record test results and other data, prepare reports, and communicate findings to the project team.
  • Travel: Regular travel to various job sites as required, with occasional overnight stays depending on project location.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other site personnel to provide support and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, always ensuring a safe working environment.
