SITE TECHNICIAN

Hydraulic and Engineering Services Ltd is a versatile engineering company specialising in the repair, supply and manufacture of hydraulic cylinders and associated hydraulic equipment relating to machinery, mobile plant, cranes, marine, recycling and many other industrial areas.
We also undertake all general engineering and manufacturing as well as reclamation repairs.
Our Site Service division cover a range of disciplines including diagnostic work, new installations, removal and re-installations of components, upgrades, renewals, hose replacement service, and system monitoring.
We are a privately owned company operating for over 30 years with a wealth of experience within the industry through our team of engineers.
We are looking to employ an experienced qualified Site Service Technician to work with our site service team and Technical Manager to carry out installations, service and repairs, reactive fault finding and call out on our customers sites, as well working on projects in our factory.
The person we are looking for will be self-motivated, punctual, reliable and has pride in delivering a high level of service.

Responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on hydraulic equipment
  • Trouble- shooting equipment malfunctions.
  • Consulting with the customer on repair and safety related issues.
  • Generating sales leads during service call.
  • Completing appropriate documentation.
  • Complete all necessary reports and inspections as required.
  • Adhere to existing processes whilst contributing to improvements.
