EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Time-served, apprenticeship-qualified Electrical Technician.
  • Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills in industrial electrical systems.
  • Proficiency in interpreting electrical documentation, including loop drawings, schematics, P&IDs, and panel diagrams.
  • Knowledge of 10KV MV generation & distribution (required).
  • Familiarity with hazardous area classifications and ATEX regulations (preferred).
  • Experience in a cGMP-regulated environment and API production facilities (preferred).

EXPERIENCE:

  • Hands-on experience with MV & LV switchgear, MCC controls, relay logic, and AC/DC voltage systems.
  • Expertise in 10KV power generation and distribution, including switchgear and Ring Main Units (RMUs).
  • Experience with racking out and earthing of 10KV MV systems.
  • Knowledge of diesel electrical generation systems and their integration into power distribution networks.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while effectively coordinating with the Engineering team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in diagnosing electrical faults.
  • Proactive and safety-conscious approach, ensuring the protection of personnel and equipment.
  • Ability to take immediate, safe action during emergency situations to prevent damage or injury
