SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Proficiency in SketchUp Pro (essential) and LayOut.
  • Experience in architectural, joinery, or construction-based design.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and dimensional accuracy.
  • Experience with rendering software (e.g., V-Ray, Enscape, Lumion) is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented SketchUp Designer to join our team on a full-time basis. You will be responsible for producing accurate and visually compelling 3D models and technical drawings for client presentations, manufacturing, and installation teams.
Full product-specific training will be provided, along with ongoing support from our experienced team to help you develop your skills, industry knowledge, and understanding of our bespoke timber systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create detailed 3D models in SketchUp Pro, including accurate joinery and construction details.
  • Prepare presentation visuals and rendered images for client proposals.
  • Prepare and submit planning applications, including drawings, forms, and supporting documents.
  • Produce working drawings and cutting lists for workshop use.
  • Collaborate closely with the design, sales, and production teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
  • Maintain an organised library of components, textures, and templates.
