Service Desk Technician
We are a specialty ski shop in the North Bay whose mission is to provide the highest level of customer service to skiers. Are you passionate about skiing and/or boarding? Can’t wait for next years’ Blister Review, consistently check snow conditions? Do you like to learn new things and challenge yourself?

We are currently accepting applications for both full and part time positions in our full service ski tuning shop who’ll manage the Service Desk as well perform binding adjustment and tests using our Wintersteiger Safe Tronic testing machine. Managing the shop desk involves building customer relationships while working and maintaining existing customers, evaluating and recommending shop services, creating shop Work Orders, managing all received, in progress and completed customer skis/snowboards, boots and bindings, setting/testing customer skis using the Safe Tronic. Detuning and waxing skis/snowboards when needed.

• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and understand their needs
• Inspect and evaluate ski equipment to determine what type of service is needed
• Familiarity with ski industry
• Physically able to stand for long periods of time
• Attention to detail
• Ability to multitask
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays during peak ski season
• Willingness to continuously learn and improve skills through training and education opportunities
• Maintain a tidy workstation

Our ideal employee is a passionate skier/rider with a passion for gear. Must have at least 8 years skiing/snowboarding experience. Please list your skiing experience, where you like to ski, where you’ve skied, your ski gear. Prior retail and/or ski tech experience is preferred but not required if you are willing to work hard and learn. We seek employees who are positive, flexible, self starters and excellent with people. We can teach you the rest.
Compensation is excellent and highly competitive in our industry. We are looking for excellent people and are willing to pay according to experience.
