QUALIFICATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Previous experience as an abattoir operative
Strong understanding of food hygiene and Health & Safety
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and attention to detail
Good teamwork and communication skills

Work to guidelines for hygienic slaughter, dressing and evisceration of animals. Maintain proper knowledge and use of slaughter equipment, including knives.
Assist with loading of lorries ready for despatch.
