Kepak Cork is now recruiting for roles within our Abattoir Department, where you will play an important part in our production operations. Working hours: Abattoir: Monday to Friday, 7 am to 4 pm (approximately) What to expect in the job? Working as part of the Abattoir team in the factory, the successful candidate will produce cuts and trims of meat to Kepak specification and at line speed. This role will involve working towards production targets. What do we need from you? We are seeking experienced operatives to join our factory processing team. The successful candidates will have a strong background working in an abattoir or boning hall environment and must demonstrate proven knife skills. You will be responsible for producing meat to meet daily and weekly production targets while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Previous experience in an abattoir or boning hall is essential. Proven and competent knife skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Consistently meet production targets and maintain required line speed. Comfortable with the physical nature of the role, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
