Description What You’ll Be Doing: Using various hand and power tools to securely build assigned projects. Measuring, marking, and arranging materials to established layout based on blueprints or instructions from supervisors. Cutting and shaping structures, forms, or other fixtures from wood, plastic, fiberglass, or drywall. Ensuring the accuracy of work by checking completed projects with tools such as levels, surveying equipment, or framing squares; corrects problems as needed. Troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production/facility equipment. Maintaining and repairing all stages of the building, parking lot (mowing/snow removal), and equipment such as HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts, such as fuses and switches. Performing other related duties as assigned. Requirements What You’ll Need: Previous experience in general construction/carpentry is required. Must be able to maintain a safe work environment and adhere to all safety policies and procedures Must be able to travel when required Ability to lift 60 lbs. as well as know and use proper lifting techniques Ability to climb ladders, bend, stoop, push, pull, squat; have full range of motion and use of arms and legs Ability to effectively use hand tools Ability to work additional hours as required Ability to work efficiently within a team Must have exceptional driving record and have a valid driver’s license (part of the responsibilities may be to drive a company vehicle) Must be able to pass drug screening and background check What You Can Look Forward to: We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including 401(k) with match, medical, dental, vision, STD & LTD, paid vacation, paid holidays, and basic life insurance.
