SKILLED GENERAL OPERATIVES

We are always looking for Skilled General Operatives to join our team. Reporting to the Production Supervisor this is a great opportunity for enthusiastic candidates who can work systematically and logically.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

· Min 1 year experience in a similar production / manufacturing operator role
· Knowledge of manufacturing machinery an advantage but not essential as full training will be given
· Manual handling desirable but not essential as training will be provided
· Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
· Strong work ethic
· Ability to work on own initiative
· Ability to work well as part of a team
· Ability to work under pressure
Competitive hourly wage
Compressed work week of 4 days, 10 hours each

Work Location: In perso

· Hose builder - build hoses to the required specification
· Application of rubber and textile on large hoses
· Application of wire and wet wrapping on large hoses
· Assisting with the stripping & extracting of hoses from the hose line production
· Assisting with packing of hoses and loading them onto containers for shipping
· Preparation of pallets for shipment
To prepare the rubber and textile for the hose builders
· Ensure that the Hose Area of the factory is kept as clean and tidy as possible and assist with general housekeeping as required
· Compliance with any Health & Safety regulations including wearing the appropriate PPE and follow all instructions
· To carry out any ad hoc requests by the Production Supervisor
