About the Role We are currently recruiting Skilled Labourers to support an upcoming outage project at the IPL site in Cochrane, AB from October 6 to October 9. This is a great opportunity for local candidates who want to work close to home and contribute to a fast-paced, safety-focused project. The successful candidates will assist with outage-related tasks, including equipment support, material handling, site cleanup, and working alongside trades and supervisors to keep the project running smoothly and safely. Must bring your own hard hat. Coveralls are supplied by OCL Group. Duties/Responsibilities Support crews during outage activities, including equipment preparation and cleanup Handle and move materials safely and efficiently Assist tradespeople and follow direction from site supervisors Maintain a clean and organized work area Participate in daily safety meetings and complete hazard assessments Follow all OCL safety policies and procedures Skills/Qualifications/Certifications Previous labour experience, preferably in industrial or maintenance environments Strong understanding of safe work practices and commitment to safety Strong communication skills with the ability to work well as part of a team Ability to work in a fast-paced outage environment and adapt to changing priorities Valid safety certifications (e.g., CSTS, WHMIS, H2S Alive (will accept H2S Awareness) Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to get to/from site Must be legally eligible to work in Canada All onboarding and required training must be completed prior to the project start date OCL Group Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
