Twin-City Interloc is an established construction company operating in Kitchener-Waterloo and the surrounding area for over 30 years. Due to our continuous growth, we are looking for Skilled Construction Labourers with Equipment Operating experience, leadership capabilities and strong landscape construction skills.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum of 2 years of direct experience working in the landscape construction field
  • Required construction knowledge and experience in the installation of paving stone, retaining walls, garden bed preparation, plantings, and other elements of the landscape construction industry
  • Skills: good oral and communication skills’ excellent problem solving; interpersonal; organizational; planning; and ability to make decisions confidently
  • G’ class Ontario drivers license (Class A license would be an asset)

Responsibilities
  • Provide safe equipment operation and labour on various construction projects.
  • Operate various tools, power tool and equipment including but not limited to: Wheelbarrows, Shovels, Rakes, Quick Cut Saws, Packer, Skid Steers, Loaders, excavators, etc.
  • Operate company vehicles including towing equipment when required.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment / tools to ensure they are in good working order. This includes inspecting, lubricating and cleaning equipment / tools on a daily basis. If defects are found, this needs to be documented in accordance with company policy.
  • Ensure vehicles are cleaned at the end of each shift.
  • Ensure CVOR books are filled out properly for each trip.
  • Ensure all safety procedures and protocols are considered and followed.
  • Adhering to all Health and Safety Requirements
  • Winter season snow removal
