Description

We are looking for Multi Traders or small teams to assist in the repairs and maintenance of social housing and void operations across East and North London.
The successful candidates will be time-served in fitting kitchens and bathrooms whilst also being experienced in plumbing, carpentry, plastering, tiling, and painting.
The Multi Trader or team will be responsible for sourcing and obtaining their own materials for all void projects, with the exception of kitchens and bathrooms, which will be ordered by our team.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience within a social housing environment.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • Experience in all aspects of void refurbishment tasks, including fitting kitchens and bathrooms, plastering, laying Polysafe flooring, painting, tiling, plumbing, and carpentry.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in multi-trade repairs and maintenance.
  • Good knowledge of void property refurbishment process.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Sourcing and obtaining materials for all void projects.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Work to a high standard.
  • Full UK driving license with own vehicle.
  • Own tools and PPE

Responsibilities
  • To ensure all assigned tasks are carried out in a safe and efficient standard.
  • Carry out a variety of tasks including basic plumbing, carpentry, kitchen and bathroom fitting, plastering, tiling, and painting & decorating.
  • Carrying out reactive repairs in vacant properties.
  • Diagnosing and rectifying faults across void properties.
  • Working to job specifications and completing works to a high standard within agreed timescales.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety policies on site.
  • Reporting progress and issues to the void supervisor.
  • Making decisions upon specialist experience and knowledge.
  • Ensuring compliance at all times with necessary regulations, standards, and legal responsibilities of repair work and contractor compliance.
