Whether it’s keeping our production lines running smoothly or ensuring everything meets our standards, every role here is vital in delivering the brands people love. We are currently seeking an experienced Skilled Production Operative to join our manufacturing team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in FMCG or food production who can confidently set up, operate, and troubleshoot production machinery while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and optimise production machinery to meet output and quality targets Carry out product changeovers, machine adjustments, and line start-ups/shut-downs Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical or process issues to minimise downtime Conduct routine machine checks and basic fault finding Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and health & safety standards Complete production and quality documentation accurately Support and guide entry-level operators where required Maintain a clean and organised work area in line with 5S standards Qualifications Skills & Experience Required Previous experience as a Machine Operator in a food or FMCG manufacturing environment Strong understanding of production processes and machinery Ability to fault find and make mechanical adjustments Knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, GMP) preferred Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, shift-based environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Additional Information Shifts: 7 till 7 (4 on 4 off, 3 on 3 off) Salary: £27,725.54 What we offer you in return: Excellent Career Opportunities Matched pension scheme up to 10% Death in service Cycle to work scheme Retailer discount platform Staff discount And plenty more!
