Tasks

  • You will carry out inspection, maintenance and testing work in plant maintenance
  • You will also carry out repair and maintenance work on measuring equipment, fittings, control and switching devices, electrical drives and process control and automation technology equipment
  • You will carry out safety measures/switching operations in low-voltage switchgear
  • You will carry out fault and malfunction analyses and rectify these faults on sensors, actuators, hard-wired control systems, programmable logic controllers and automation equipment
  • You will also carry out modification and adjustment work, e.g. calibration, adjustment of zero point and measuring range, alarm and limit values, on measuring sensors and transmitters in instrumentation and process analysis technology
  • You will change and replace light sources in the lighting system as well as operating and consumable materials in I&C and process analysis technology equipment
  • You will carry out connection and wiring work on electrical equipment such as motors, fittings, drives, sensors and actuators
  • You will test protective and monitoring equipment, explosion-protected equipment and portable and stationary electrical equipment for function and safety
  • You will also carry out small assembly work such as bracket production, hose and cable laying and pipe connections
  • You will document the maintenance, inspections and tests carried out and actively participate in maintaining the maintenance documentation (as-built documents, consumer lists and device documentation)

Profile

  • You have successfully completed your training as an electronics technician (m/f/d) for automation technology or equivalent training
  • You have at least two years of professional experience, preferably in a production environment
  • You also have a very good understanding of production engineering processes
  • You have in-depth knowledge of process control systems and EMR technology and are ideally proficient in the use of MS Office and SAP
  • You are characterized by a conscientious and independent way of working, combined with a strong safety awareness
  • You are also a strong communicator and team player
