SKILLS AND EMPLOYMENT ADVISER

Fixed-term contract until the end of September 2025
Salary: £38/£39k
Hybrid role, lots of travel around the Thames Valley, at Head Office in Slough one day per week. Will consider part-time, a minimum of 3 days per week.
Are you passionate about education and used to attending and arranging events, and liaising at the C-suite level? The Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce is looking for someone to join the team for a fixed period. An extension may be granted, but it is subject to funding availability.
The Skills and Employment Adviser role required experience of key account management, providing essential leadership for business engagement and relationship management. Our successful candidate will engage with project team members, employers, key stakeholders and training providers across the Thames Valley.
You will work alongside the TVCC team to obtain a commitment from employers to actively engage in the Local Skills Improvement Plan project.
You will be a good communicator, used to presenting, enthusiastic and knowledgeable about training and development and used to talking and influencing key decision-makers. You will need access to transport (expenses will be paid).
The role encompasses the Thames Valley, including both Oxfordshire and Berkshire.
