Description
We're a Cape Town skincare brand on a mission to become the largest in the world - from Africa. Our products are grounded in African botanics and science-backed claims. The Role This is not a treatment room position. You will own our user trial programme end to end, conducting skin analyses, tracking results, compiling evidence reports, and feeding clinical insight directly into our NPD process. You'll work closely with the Head of Product Development and have real influence on what we build and what we claim. Responsibilities • Design and manage structured user trial programmes from recruitment to results sign-off • Conduct baseline and follow-up skin analyses (including Meicet) and maintain a before/after evidence library • Compile clear, evidence-based reports and translate findings into consumer-friendly language • Brief content and marketing on what the evidence supports and defensible claims • Support retail partner training on skin analysis, product recommendation and education • Contribute clinical perspective to NPD briefs and formulation reviews • Comfortable on camera, able to speak confidently to your expertise. (Customer facing and social media) • Diploma in Somatology (NQF Level 5 min; Level 6 preferred) + SAAHSP registration • 3+ years' post-qualification experience in a clinical skincare environment • CIDESCO/ITEC advantageous • Precise, organised, analytically minded, and genuinely passionate about skin • Cape Town-based with own transport • R25,000 – R30,000/month, negotiable based on experience • Performance bonus + monthly product allocation • Hybrid working model • Direct access to senior leadership and real impact on product development
