JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commercial driving and delivery, with the ability to operate various types of vehicles, including flatbed lorries. The Driver will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while ensuring excellent customer service.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid commercial driving licence with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred.
• Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Experience working in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Operate commercial vehicles, including flatbed lorries, to deliver goods to designated locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods during transport.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate effectively with dispatch regarding any issues or delays.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients.
• Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organisation.
