Position: Skytrex Trainee Resin and Metal mould maker
Hours: 37.5hrs a week.
Contract: Permanent

• Ability to work to targets, attention to detail and quality, mindset, organised, likes repetitive work.

THE PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

• To press and pour moulds suitable for metal and resin casting
• To prioritise your time and work to produce moulds in a timely manner
  It can be a challenging job as you will be asked to meet production and quality targets every single day.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Care of production moulds to maximise both the yield and the shelf life of said products.
• Cleaning metal masters and pressing moulds for metal sets.
• Cleaning masters and pouring moulds for resin sets.
• Pressing and pouring moulds to use for production
• Quality checking moulds
• Operating, cleaning and basic maintenance of mould press
• Engage with continuous improvement, helping to improve how the department works
• Adhering to all safe systems of work and work policies
• Potentially to assist in the production and casting of high-quality resin models
• Potentially to assist in the operation of centrifugal machines to cast high quality models efficiently and professionally that are to be used in Skytrex and third-party products with a view to learning the centrifugal mould making process.
