Sets up, adjusts and operates medical equipment and instruments. Performs testing ordered by patient’s physician. Addresses age-specific needs of infants, toddlers, school age, adolescents, adults, older adults. Performs therapeutic procedures with emphasis on patient care. Assists physicians in Sleep Lab. Maintains equipment and orders supplies as necessary. Performs administrative and other tasks as requested. Board Registered Polysomnographic Technologist Current CPR certification.
Responsibilities
The Sleep Lab Technologist sets up, adjusts, and operates medical equipment while performing tests ordered by physicians. They also assist physicians in the Sleep Lab and maintain equipment and supplies as necessary.
