JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various machinery and tools to produce high-quality products while ensuring safety and efficiency in the workplace. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical processes and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

REQUIREMENTS

  • The ability to read and write English.
  • Grade 12 education or equivalent (grade 10 plus documented experience in the field). Have all the theoretical education and acquired practical experience.
  • Shall be able to start-up a line, troubleshoot the line and complete minor repairs
  • Helps in training of employees and supports shift leaders with their varying tasks.
  • Having eyesight to read all manuals, dials, control panels’ etc. with or without corrective lenses.
  • Able to distinguish basic colours.
  • Physical ability to lift on a regular and on- going basis up to forty (40) pounds.
  • Adaptable to changing technologies (Laser scanning, paperless, bar-coding, automated process control).
  • Should have technical inclination and familiarity with hand tools
  • 24-hours industrial environment is required
    Shift:- Day, Afternoon and Night
    Pay rate:- $18.50/hour
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: $18.50 per hour

Experience:

  • slicing operator: 1 year (preferred)
  • CNC machine: 1 year (preferred)

Responsibilities

Operator will run the slicing and squaring line with 1 or 2 helper(s) under the supervision of the Supervisor but with minimal interaction on a daily basis. As a slicing assist you will help run the line.

  • Monitor the above units for the production of highest quality parts and products.
  • Help maintaining the equipment used and report any problems for fast repair.
  • Perform start- ups and change over, help to achieve continuous improvement.
  • Able to run all products, setups, and changeovers.
  • Understand all packaging, labeling, barcoding etc.
  • Make correct adjustments to bring part to spec.
  • Perform other related assignments as management directs.
