SLICING OPERATOR | AFTERNOON & NIGHT SHIFTS | M-F | BRAMPTON

We are looking for a Skilled Slicing Operator to run our slicing and squaring line with the support of 1–2 helpers. Reporting to the Supervisor, you will work with minimal supervision to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production.
Location: Brampton ON
Pay: $18.50 per hour, based on experience
Shifts: Monday to Friday

REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12 or equivalent (Grade 10 plus relevant experience will be considered).
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Hands-on ability to start, troubleshoot, and make minor repairs to the line.
• Good vision (with or without corrective lenses) and ability to distinguish colors.
• Physically able to lift up to 40 lbs on a regular basis.
• Comfortable working in a 24-hour industrial environment.
• Technically inclined and familiar with hand tools.
• Adaptable to evolving technology such as laser scanning, paperless systems, barcoding, and automated process control.

• Operate the slicing and squaring line to produce parts and products to quality standards.
• Perform start-ups, changeovers, and necessary adjustments to meet specifications.
• Monitor equipment performance and report issues for prompt repair.
• Assist in equipment maintenance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Understand and follow all packaging, labeling, and barcoding requirements.
• Train new employees and support shift leaders as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
