Description This role is responsible for efficiently regrading fabric to produce quality rolls, to meet customer expectations and shipping demands. In addition, the individual incorporates safety into his/her work culture, to maintain a safe working environment overall. Responsibilities Meet set quota for production standards. Regrade fabric. Verify rolls based on Standard Operating procedure. Remove defects from rolls while minimizing waste. Effectively label each roll with a ticket. Ensure proper wrapping of each roll based on fabric style. Operate equipment to minimize downtime. Set up equipment based on Standard Operating Procedure. Pack rolls based on Standard Operating Procedure and distribute to correct holding location based on size. Perform other duties as required. Requirements Education Minimum high school graduate or equivalent. Experience Previous manufacturing experience preferred. Key Skills Team oriented. Precision skills in measurement. Reading and comprehension. Color detection. Computer literacy. Basic mathematical knowledge. Physical Lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs. Upright stationary position for 90% of the day. Positions self to operate equipment.
