Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Slitter Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating slitting machines to cut large rolls of material into smaller, specified widths with precision and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: -- Operate and monitor slitting machines to ensure accurate cutting of materials according to specifications - Set up machines, adjust blades, and troubleshoot issues to maintain optimal performance - Inspect finished products for quality, ensuring proper dimensions and surface finish - Strong commitment to safety, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols and procedures - Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines Requirements Skills and Qualifications: - experience operating slitting or similar manufacturing machinery - understanding of machine setup and operation - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications - Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills - Good communication and teamwork abilities - Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as required - High school diploma or equivalent; - Knowledge of safety standards and procedures in a manufacturing environment
