  $18.50/hour PLUS up to $32.19/hour in Tips!   Position Summary: Responsible for providing friendly and efficient service to internal and external guests. Responsible for slot floor, hand pays, minor machine repairs, currency and coin exchange and Rewards Card sign-ups. Properly implements all Title 31 procedures. Observe and safeguard assets of the Company. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies and procedures. Essential Functions: 1. Responsible for practicing, supporting and promoting Graton Resort & Casino's Company-wide culture and demonstrating Graton Resort & Casino's Service Standards at all times. 2. Comply with signatory controls, including Jackpot tickets, check in/out sheet verification, transfer or buy sheet verification, Title 31 paperwork, paid in/out slip, key control log, radio sign out log and daily sign in sheet. 3. Capable of counting down, checking in/out and maintaining accountability of a slot bank. 4. Be prepared to effectively and efficiently make change for guests, while maintaining Title 31 requirements. 5. Inform shift management of any illegal gaming devices. 6. Understand Graton Resort & Casino's philosophy and work effectively to implement it. 7. Complies with all Slot Department policies. Provides constructive feedback to Slot Department Management on necessary changes and improvements. 8. Ability to have clear, friendly and positive communication with internal and external guests. 9. Handle guest opportunities in a positive and professional manner. 10. Be aware of all activities in assigned area. 11. Inform shift management of guest needs, which may require special accommodations. 12. Keep work areas neat, clean and safe. 13. Understanding and awareness of Rewards Card Program. 14. Be aware and updated on all upcoming events and promotions. 15. Promote enrollment on slot floor by recruiting new Rewards Club sign-ups in assigned areas. 16. Issue Rewards Club cards and input data into system. 17. Reprint Rewards Club cards upon request from a guest. 18. Obtain a minimum of five (5) new floor sign-ups per week. 19. Other job related duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Qualifications: 1. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form. 2. Manual dexterity to work with computer keyboard, machine locks, and small tools to repair minor machine malfunctions. Ability to use equipment, such as: currency counter, calculator, telephone, and hand held radio, or other electronic devices. 3. Basic math skills. 4. Basic money handling skills. 5. Working understanding of Title 31 requirements. For example, all acceptable or unacceptable currency transactions, MTL and CTRC logging requirements. 6. Follow all Responsible Gaming Guidelines. For example, self-limiting requests and checking identification for individuals who appear under 30 years of age. 7. Maintain positive and effective working relationships with teammates, management, guests, and other departments. 8. Understanding and practice service standards. 9. Understand and comply with all company and department rules, regulations, policies and procedures. 10. Must be at least 21 years of age. 11. Must be able to obtain a Gaming Work Card. Physical Requirements: 1. Ability to bend, kneel, reach, and lift bags of coins weighing up to 25 pounds when accessing or filling booth bank. Ability to push a cart weighing in excess of 300 pounds. 2. Ability to stand and walk for duration of shift. 3. Able to hear radio transmissions. Able to communicate clearly on the radio.
Responsibilities
