Responsibilities:
You and your team are responsible for providing excellent customer service and maintaining good public relations at our gaming facility. You will be accountable for your staff, assisting with hiring, training, evaluations, recognition and development. You will plan and manage slot projects to optimize revenue and assist with the administration of the departmental budget by monitoring overtime, tracking scheduled hours, and managing operating expenses. You will maintain general awareness of the gaming operation at all times, and comply with security policies and procedures in order to secure company assets. Your strong presence on the gaming floor will be vital to your management of people and interacting with customers, while ensuring compliance with Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) regulations and other applicable laws, policies and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • University Degree or three (3) years post-secondary diploma in Electronics, Accounting or Economics with related experience.
  • Completion of a management training program is also required.
  • Managerial experience in the related field of three (3) or more years.
  • Demonstrated strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical, communication, and managerial skills.
  • Working knowledge of computer software packages and have the ability to make progress on multiple tasks under time constraints.
  • The ability to obtain registration as a Category 1 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario
