POSITION REQUIRES A MASTER’S DEGREE IN SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY, ELIGIBILITY TO BEGIN THE CLINICAL FELLOWSHIP YEAR (CFY) UNDER ASHA SUPERVISION, AND ELIGIBLE FOR STATE LICENSURE AS A SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at an early childhood school in Hanford, CA. This contract position supports students in early elementary grades with mild to moderate needs, managing a caseload of approximately 58. The role spans 25-26 school years (SY) and requires a commitment of 37.5 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Case manage and assess students requiring speech-language services.
  • Provide individualized therapy to support communication development in early elementary children.
  • Collaborate with educators and families to create and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports to monitor student growth and comply with regulatory standards.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team efforts.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist credential for school settings.
  • Experience working with early childhood and early elementary populations.
  • Ability to manage a caseload ranging around 58 students.
  • Skilled in assessing and treating students with mild to moderate speech and language disorders.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills for effective case management and collaboration.
