A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at a middle school in Camden, NJ, to serve a caseload of 43 students. This contract position spans the current school year with an ASAP start date of June 19th. The role is onsite at a single school location, offering direct interaction and hands-on support within the school environment.
As the sole SLP at this middle school, you will have the autonomy to lead speech and language services while collaborating with a regional team of three additional SLPs. This structure provides both independence and access to ongoing mentorship and professional guidance, enhancing your ability to impact student outcomes positively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide individualized speech and language therapy to a caseload of 43 middle school students
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all school district policies and legal requirements

Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working with middle school-aged children preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage students and school staff
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing to a supportive regional SLP team
