The role provides leadership in driving, implementing, advising, monitoring and managing risks and obligations within Westpac’s Customer and Corporate Services (CCS) division, supporting the Corporate Services Lines of Business. It is responsible for ensuring the consistent implementation and embedding of risk management frameworks, policies, and controls.
The role also involves partnering with key stakeholders on all risk and control matters, developing practical solutions to risk-related challenges, and supporting their end-to-end implementation through effective stakeholder engagement.
A key expectation of this role is to promote a strong risk culture that reflects the organisation’s ethics and integrity, while appropriately balancing commercial and customer needs.
