Description

Position Summary: Assists the various departments of the company in the welding and fabrication of equipment, tools, and facilities in support of production. QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: • Shop or Welding classes or certifications are a plus. • Strong background in welding all types of materials and in all position types. Must be familiar with set-up, lay out and welding with torch and plasma arc. • Valid Driver's License and Clean Driving Record Required. Job Description ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Set-up lay out and execution of welding and fabrication jobs. • Accurately and promptly logging all work completed. • Maintaining a neat and clean work area, free from hazards. • Following all health and safety requirements, in addition to complying with all company policies. PREFERRED SKILLS • Welds safely and in accordance with recognized good welding practices. • Able to set up machines and fabrication jobs. • Welds aluminum, steel, and stainless steel in Flat, Horizontal, Vertical and Overhead positions. • Must have tools for the work that include a hood, chipper, hammer, wrenches, pry bars, punches, socket sets and lay-out equipment. • Must be capable of donning personal protective equipment required in the function of the work. Mechanically incline Hours of operation would be 12:00PM to 9:30pm Sunday to Thrusday
