Job Description THE ROLE Leading the Credit, Lending Support, and Settlements teams across Sydney and Manila, this is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to make the next step from a Credit Manager or similar. Team Leadership & Culture ● Ensure Team Members and Leads provide timely, accurate direction in line with company procedures. ● Actively coach supervisors to help them achieve their full potential. ● Drive staff engagement, retention initiatives, and maintain an engaged team culture. ● Manage onboarding, probationary reviews, training programs, and the development of new staff to ensure they meet performance targets. ● Establish and maintain high-performing teams across both Manila and Sydney offices. ● Ensure functions supporting the Lux team are "fit for purpose" and that controls are scaled for large-exposure risks. Operational Performance & Workflow. ● Oversee departmental workflow and implement immediate strategies if targets are not met. ● Manage data-driven feedback systems for assessors and implement performance plans for underperforming staff. ● Monitor team resources and leave to ensure customer service levels remain consistent year-round. ● Ensure all Credit Assessment, KYC, and Settlement activities align with industry regulations and internal policies. ● Handle divisional Dispute Resolution (IDR) complaints. Qualifications THIS PERSON IS SOMEONE WITH ● Demonstrated experience in lending operations, credit assessment, or financial services, including experience in a supervisory role. ● Proven track record of supervising teams across credit, settlements, and lending support operations. ● Ideally experience working and supervising offshore teams ● Understanding of Australian financial services regulations, credit risk frameworks, AML/CTF requirements, and compliance obligations. ● Demonstrated success in establishing and maintaining performance KPIs, bringing efficiency and implementing process improvements. ● An aptitude for analysis with experience in building reports and using data to bring efficiencies. ● Tertiary qualification in Finance, Business, Risk Management, or related field (or equivalent experience) is desirable.
