Mō te Tūranga | About the Role As a Small Business Partner, you'll be working with some of our more complex business and small business customers, providing advice around BNZ banking products and services that will support them to achieve their financial goals. You will also grow the portfolio, getting out in market building relationships with future BNZ customers. What does the day to day for a Small Business Partner look like? Build and manage a portfolio of new and existing small business customers, with the goal of enhancing customer satisfaction and credit risk profile. Be a trusted partner for clients by demonstrating an understanding of their business. Understand BNZ’s specialist offering and refer customers as appropriate. Create and maintain a proactive and structured call cycle and frequent contact with all customers. Maintain strong networking relationships with market advocates and stay up to date with industry activities. What is the most exciting thing about these opportunities? What attributes will make you successful? Proven lending experience and an understanding of business financials is essential. You’ll have some understanding of the challenges that come with running a small business. Demonstrate business development or previous experience acquiring new business. The ability to effectively manage complex relationships, and work well in a team.
