Jammin Transportation LLC is seeking a dependable and experienced Over-the-Road Hotshot Driver to join our fast-paced trucking company. We operate nationwide, hauling time-sensitive freight with a focus on safety, professionalism, and on-time delivery. REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • Experience with manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
  • Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and other specialized truck types is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles is highly desirable.
  • Ability to load and unload freight efficiently using forklifts or similar equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of route driving and navigation skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate various types of trucks including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and dump trucks.
  • Drive routes as assigned, ensuring timely delivery of goods to designated locations.
  • Load and unload freight using forklifts or other equipment as required.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and mileage.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transit.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal driving regulations while maintaining a safe driving record.
  • Tarping, chaining and securing cargo.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Safely operate a 1-ton truck and gooseneck/trailer combination for expedited freight delivery
  • Pick up and deliver loads on time while following all DOT and FMCSA regulations
  • Maintain accurate logs, trip sheets, and delivery documentation
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch for updates and scheduling
  • Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment is in safe operating condition
