POSITION OVERVIEW:

As an Audio Visual Installation Technician, you’ll play a hands-on role in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting high-end residential A/V and automation systems. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a passion for home technology.

Responsibilities
  • Install and integrate home entertainment and automation systems, including:
  • Home theaters
  • Multi-room audio and video
  • Motorized shades and lighting control
  • Wired and wireless network systems
  • Rack assembly, cable management, and structured wiring for clean, professional installations.
  • System programming and configuration (Control4, Lutron, or similar platforms).
  • Test, troubleshoot, and calibrate systems for optimal performance.
  • Educate and train clients on system usage and best practices.
  • Maintain a clean and professional workspace in clients’ homes.
  • Provide technical support and system maintenance as needed.
  • Work both independently and collaboratively within a skilled team.
