We’re looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Lead to take full ownership of our hiring function and build the team that builds SmartGrass. This isn’t about posting ads and waiting. It’s about recognising exceptional talent, proactively finding it, and building a recruitment function that supports a high-growth business. What You’ll Own End-to-end recruitment across NZ Proactive sourcing and headhunting of high-calibre talent Screening, interviewing and assessing candidates across multiple business functions Partnering with our marketing team on targeted recruitment campaigns Continuous improvement of recruitment systems and processes (including AI integration) Delivering realistic job previews and maintaining high hiring standards Offers, pre-start experience and onboarding oversight The opportunity to expand into broader people and HR leadership responsibilities as the business grows You’ll be given the autonomy to shape how recruitment is run - with leadership support and clear expectations around quality and performance. Responsibilities
