Job Title: Smart Hands Technician
Location: Wichita, KS
Duration: 1-2 week contract
Pay Rate: $25-32/hr. (Based on Experience)
Position Overview:
As a Smart Hands Technician, you will be responsible for providing on-site assistance in Wichita, KS. Your primary focus will be on placing Avaya telephone sets. This role requires a proactive and adaptable individual who can work effectively in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Place and test Avaya telephone sets at client location, ensuring optimal functionality and user satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to execute tasks that require physical presence.
  • Document all work performed.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service, ensuring client needs are met promptly and professionally.
  • Follow company and industry standards for safety, security, and best practices in telecommunications and IT support.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or associate degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Smart Hands Technician or similar role, with specific experience in placing and/or setting up VoIP phones.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and remote technical teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to client sites as needed.
