Apprenticeship Course – Early Years Level 3 Apprenticeship
Duration – 18 months
Hours - Monday to Friday – initially fixed shift of 9.00 to 5.30 then part of the rota system (8.5-hour day including one hour’s lunch break)
Salary - From £16.500 - £18,000pa (depending on whether they have achieved their L2 EYP qualification)

• Support to implement learning activities working with individual or small groups of pupils,
• Support to assist the development of varying skills that support pupils’ learning,
• Support in producing learning resources,
• Support to assist in pupil supervision,
• Support in monitoring and recording of pupil progress and developmental needs,
• Reporting pupil progress to the teacher,
• Work within the school’s policy and procedures,
• Working to the relevant apprenticeship standard/framework and completing work in a timely manner,
• To the accountabilities above, the apprentice may be required to undertake any of the duties normally
