ASSISTANT MANAGER – SMASHVILLE NEWCOMB

Salary: ~$70k + super
Roster: Tuesday to Saturday (no super late nights + NO SUNDAYS)
Location: Newcomb, Geelong
Start Date: Tuesday 10th September (ideally)
Smashville started as a tiny hole-in-the-wall serving up Nashville hot chicken and burgers. From that little shop, we’ve grown legs, and now you’ll find us at GMHBA Stadium, Melbourne outlets, a food truck hitting festivals, and private catering gigs feeding huge crowds. And we’re just getting started.
We’re looking for an Assistant Manager at Smashville Newcomb who’s not just about running shifts, but helping shape the way our stores operate as we scale up.

• Lead from the front on customer service - set the tone, handle issues, keep energy high
• Support staff welfare and team culture, keeping standards consistent across all shifts
• Help recruit, onboard, and train new team members as we grow
• Spot operational gaps and improve them - from rostering efficiency to service flow
• Capture content during shifts to showcase the authentic Smashville vibe on social media
• Jump on the grill, fryer, or burger line when needed — you’ll know the menu inside out.
• Work closely with owners and Kitchen Manager (who handles back-of-house ordering and systems)
• Manage shift operations including cash handling, opening/closing procedures, and compliance
