In this highly influential individual‑contributor role, you will collaborate closely with Project Lead Engineers, BIM Engineers, and Electro‑mechanical Engineers, serving as the technical authority who elevates designs, resolves challenges, and drives best‑in‑class engineering solutions. Your contributions will directly impact project performance, constructability, safety, and efficiency—positioning Linxon as a leader in delivering complex, high‑value infrastructure across the Americas. What will you do? Deliver civil and structural design packages that meet technical requirements and support successful execution of substation and energy projects. Introduce innovative, cost‑saving design improvements that enhance project value. Provide key design inputs—layouts, quantities, grading, drainage, foundations, and steel structures—to strengthen overall project quality. Ensure all designs meet applicable codes and standards to reduce compliance risk. Conduct technical and constructability reviews that minimize rework and improve efficiency. Provide accurate engineering estimates and forecasts to support project planning. Lead and participate in design and hazard reviews to resolve issues early. Work with customers, technical assurance, and subcontractors to secure approvals and ensure technical consistency. Who you are? You have experience in civil and structural design for high‑voltage substations or transmission lines; experience with industrial facilities or power plants is a plus. You understand geotechnical investigations, earthworks, grading, and drainage and how they influence project design. You are proficient in structural analysis tools such as STAAD and/or SAP2000. You are skilled in CAD platforms like AutoCAD and/or MicroStation, and ideally Revit as well. You bring (or are working toward) a Professional Engineering certification, which is considered an advantage. You hold a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with at least five years of experience, or a master’s degree with at least three years of experience. What we offer?
