Requirements:
We are seeking a highly skilled and mission-focused Subject Matter Expert (SME) Database Administrator (with occasional visits to the Pentagon & Alexandria, VA) to support the development, maintenance, and optimization of financial data processes and repositories. This position requires some familiarity with U.S. government financial systems and the ability to analyze and manage large datasets tied to Congressional appropriations and international funding mechanisms. The SME Database Administrator will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity, accessibility, and utility of financial data across a wide range of platforms while working closely with stakeholders to drive informed decision-making through accurate reporting, process automation, and data governance.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Finance, Data Science, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing federal or DoD financial data systems and enterprise databases.
  • Demonstrated expertise in:
  • Financial systems.
  • Data governance and repository management.
  • QA/QC methods and stakeholder data integration.
  • Preferred experience interpreting federal appropriations, Congressional budget documentation, and international funding instruments
  • Proficient in data visualization, SQL querying, and financial reporting tools.
  • Secret Clearance
