*CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD*

SOSi is seeking a highly qualified Subject Matter Expert (SME) Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) Specialist to support US Army requirements in the Europe & Africa Area of Responsibility (AOR).

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Geospatial and ArcGIS server and portal management for the Theater Geospatial Database (TGD) and other relevant networks.
  • Ensure validated data sources are obtained and made available for exploitation and analysis.
  • Direct the configuration, maintenance, and upgrade of virtualization hardware and software supporting GIS data management and dissemination.
  • Establish and manage collaboration links with other ArcGIS Portals, ensuring interoperability.
  • Oversee the configuration and updating of web-based GIS capabilities.
  • Ensure support for Esri and Open Web Map protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years’ experience, or an Associate’s degree with a minimum of 14 years’ experience, or a high school diploma with a minimum of 16 years’ experience.
  • An active Top Secret / SCI security clearance.
  • DOD Cyber Work Force (DCWF) 411 Certs: SecurityX / CASP+ or CCNP Security or CISA or FITSP-O or GICSP or SSCP or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint for document management and various administrative tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders and organize materials for In-Progress Review (IPR) meetings.
  • Experience producing metrics and reports using Microsoft Office tools.
  • Demonstrated history of discretion, independent judgment, and self-direction.

Working Conditions:

  • Normal office conditions with potential to perform duties in deployed locations.
  • Core hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 0600 – 1700
  • May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs.
  • It is anticipated that contractor personnel will be required to travel on Temporary Duty (TDY) to various CONUS and OCONUS locations based on USAREUR-AF and Mission Partner requirements.
