Key Responsibilities: * * Conduct independent SMSF audits in accordance with SIS Act, SIS Regulations, and ATO requirements.

  • Review SMSF financial statements, tax returns, member statements, and compliance reports.
  • Identify compliance breaches and prepare management letters with clear recommendations.
  • Assess fund investment strategies, contributions, pension payments, rollovers, and compliance with related party rules.
  • Ensure timely completion of audits and maintain high-quality professional standards.
  • Communicate audit findings to clients and internal teams with professionalism and clarity.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SMSF audit regulations, ATO guidelines, and industry best practices.
  • Work collaboratively with compliance and accounting teams to resolve issues and ensure client satisfaction.

Desired Qualifications & Skills: Experience:

  • Minimum 2–3 years of strong work experience in SMSF Auditing (mandatory). Skills & Competencies:
  • In-depth knowledge of SMSF regulations, SIS Act, and ATO audit requirements. * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to manage multiple audits with strict deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and strong ethical standards.
  • Proficiency in SMSF audit software and working knowledge of Class Super/BGL preferred.
